Frequently asked questions
No. We believe everyone has an inner athlete. While individual goals may differ from those training at a competitive level, the path to better movement follows the same principles. We work with anyone navigating musculoskeletal conditions or movement limitations who want to enhance their movement quality, as well as those pursuing general fitness goals.
Physical Therapy isn't just for those who are dealing with pain. Anyone who is looking to improve how they move, gain strength, improve coordination or need guidance in preparing for a fitness goal can benefit from what we call “Performance Therapy”. Our performance-led approach keeps your long-term goals in mind as we build an individualized plan for you using movement, exercise and hands on treatment as our primary tools for improvement. Whether you are recovering from an injury, preparing for a new physical challenge or looking to learn preventative measures to stay active, our programming will be catered to your specific needs and goals.
There are a few options for scheduling an appointment. For an initial appointment, we recommend scheduling a complimentary consult call first to make sure our services are the appropriate fit for you. You can do this by sending us a message on the home page of our website, emailing us directly at connect@copahp.com or giving us a call or text at 720-860-4595.
Our office is currently located at 8085 S Chester St, # 240 Centennial, CO 80112. The office is found within Factum Performance & Wellness but we have separate hours of operation.
Your first session will be focused on evaluating your current symptoms and/or movement profile so an individualized plan of care can be created for you. Wear comfortable clothes, something you would exercise in or be active in. Towards the end of your session, you and Dr. AJ Patrick will discuss findings from the examination to provide clarity on where the primary limitations are being found and recommendations on how to build towards your long-term goals.
We do not accept insurance for coverage of our plans of care but many insurance plans do offer out-of-network reimbursement of up to 50-70%. Out-of-network reimbursements vary so please review your personal insurance policies or contact your insurance company for additional information. We are happy to provide the billing/documentation needed for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement if applicable.
As an Out of Network company, we do not accept any health insurance plans for coverage of cost towards our plans of care/services. Cost for sessions are considered "Cash-Based" meaning the patient is responsible for payment for each session.
Yes, we do accept HAS and FSA cards as payment for plans of care and services.
No. We are a direct access company so you are not required to provide a script for our services. Although a script isn't required for care, we do value your physicians as part of your healthcare team and view them as an important asset in your healthcare journey. We are happy to communicate with your primary healthcare providers on our plans of care upon request.
